Datalink is now offering its Backup Assessment and Backup Reporting Services, part of Datalink’s StorageScape suite of software tools powered by APTARE’s StorageConsole. By leveraging APTARE’s technology as part of its managed service offering, Datalink’s customers have a centralized real-time view of their data protection environment, allowing them to immediately increase their backup and recovery success and to optimize their backup environment.
"Our customers have an overwhelming amount of data to safeguard on a daily basis, and it is our job to protect critical business information for them," said Tom Sylvester, vice president of technical services, Datalink. "APTARE’s StorageConsole technology combined with our technical support and analysis service offerings alleviate the worry and concern that organizations have to ensure that their information assets are secure. Our partnership with APTARE allows us to provide our customers with a new level of visibility, metrics-driven reporting and proactive services so that return on investment is maximized and risk of data loss is mitigated."
APTARE designed its Alliance Reseller Program to give resellers and managed service providers (MSPs) the tools and solutions they need to create an annuity-based revenue stream and a customized user experience. APTARE’s solutions are enterprise-scalable, and the Alliance program is tailored for each individual reseller’s business goals. With its patented Web 2.0-based architecture, APTARE provides resellers and managed service providers with a hosted storage reporting and management Web portal for their customers, so they’re up and running in a matter of hours instead of days.
"Managed services and delivering software as a service are truly the wave of the future. More Fortune 500 companies are beginning to realize the high costs of internally managing storage, so outsourcing is quickly becoming the rule rather than the exception," said Richard Clark, president and CEO of APTARE. "Datalink’s practice areas provide differentiated value-add solutions and services to support its customers’ business objectives. This, coupled with APTARE’s technology, makes it efficient and cost-effective for customers to take their storage management to the next level."
The storage industry’s top resellers have selected APTARE’s StorageConsole as the technology backbone to their service offerings. The platform supports all of APTARE’s products, integrating backup reporting and storage capacity reporting into a single Web 2.0 console to deliver comprehensive, end-to-end storage reporting.
