Age Star Demonstrates Wireless USB HDD

Using Artimi’s comprehensive reference design, Age Star has built a pre-production Wireless USB hard disk drive to showcase a product that is ready to go to market and features high throughput, easy to use wireless data transfer for fast, simple backup of files, at speeds of over 100Mbps.
The hard disk drive uses an integrated module that can connect to an external PC adaptor for a Zero Install plug & play solution to address the legacy PC market, yet also supports notebook PCs with integrated Wireless USB, to take advantage of the growing Wireless USB ecosystem.
Artimi’s reference design for the Wireless USB hard disk drive is based on the company’s A-150 chip which is certified by the USB-IF and includes a full set of design, production and product information, designed to make integration as simple as possible.
