SANscreen From NetApp to Manage Storage as an End-to-End IT Service

In addition, the more than 100 current SANscreen customers will benefit from NetApp’s global 24×7 support organization.
SANscreen is an award-winning product suite that extends data center automation to storage with its real-time, heterogeneous, service-level views of the storage environment. SANscreen allows customers to manage storage as a true end-to-end IT service, which reduces capital and operational costs and improves application service quality. Furthermore, its actionable service-level information can be leveraged by both storage teams and non-technical storage users, effectively integrating storage into the entire IT service delivery chain.

The SANscreen product suite includes Service Insight, Service Assurance, Application Insight, Replication Assurance, Capacity Manager, Provisioning Manager, and VM Insight. SANscreen is currently in production in over 30% of Fortune 50 companies, including the world’s largest retailer, entertainment company, commercial bank, and health insurer. Customers have successfully scaled SANscreen to support environments from 500 to over 70,000 ports.
