To better service U.S. federal market
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on June 4, 2008 at 3:41 pmONStor Inc. announced it has been added to immixGroup‘s General Services Administration (GSA) schedule contract and NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) IV contract. The immixGroup is a leader in technology representation, channel programs and government contract management services. Being added to these two contracts allows ONStor products to be sold to any branch of the federal government; provides standard pricing, terms and conditions; and streamlines the procurement process for ONStor clustered NAS solutions. ONStor’s virtualized NAS technology will be of interest to federal government customers that require storage and server consolidation, energy-efficiency, and overall space reduction in the data center.
"ONStor’s inclusion in these contracts is critical to our ability to successfully negotiate and win business in the federal government space and will enable us to attract new customers," said Tom Gallivan, senior vice president, worldwide sales, ONStor. "We’re committed to helping federal agencies cost-effectively keep pace with today’s uncontrollable growth of unstructured data."
