Oracle Validated Fujitsu Siemens Servers and Storage Systems

For Enterprise Linux

Helping safeguard against system failure in mission-critical enterprise computing environments, PRIMERGY servers and FibreCAT SX storage systems from Fujitsu Siemens Computers are featured in new Oracle Validated Configurations. By participating in the Oracle Validated Configurations program, Fujitsu Siemens Computers, Europe’s leading IT infrastructure provider, is able to help assure enterprise customers that the software, hardware, storage and networking components of its PRIMERGY server and FibreCAT SX storage platform are tried, tested and up to the job of meeting customers’ demanding performance levels for running mission-critical enterprise applications on Oracle® Enterprise Linux.

The Oracle Validated Configurations program enables customers to simplify deployment and reduce the need for expensive testing of Linux stacks based on the Oracle Enterprise Linux platform. Participation in the program underlines Fujitsu Siemens Computers’ commitment to customers to deliver compatibility between Oracle configurations on Linux and PRIMERGY servers, marketed by Fujitsu Siemens Computers in EMEA (Europe, the Middle East and Africa) and Fujitsu in other markets.

"Fujitsu Siemens Computers and Fujitsu Computer Systems have a long history of offering customers a choice of operating systems and platforms to run their business-critical applications," says Bernd Kosch, Vice President Strategic Alliances at Fujitsu Siemens Computers.
