Xiotech Awarded Contract From The Cooperative Purchasing Network

To offer storage systems to U.S. government agencies

Xiotech Corporation has been awarded a contract from The Cooperative Purchasing Network (TCPN), a national purchasing cooperative. Under the contract, TCPN will offer Xiotech’s new Emprise storage line and Magnitude 3D 4000 storage systems, along with the company’s line of data protection solutions to government agencies nationally.

TCPN will be an extension of Xiotech’s established procurement contracts, enabling local and state government and educational agencies the flexibility to purchase the company’s data storage and data protection solutions on demand without going through the competitive bidding process – saving government agencies time and money. TCPN is available for use by public and private schools, colleges, universities, cities, counties and other government entities.

TCPN’s contracts are awarded based on a vendor’s industry quality, proven performance, customer satisfaction and pricing,” said Susan MacDonald, marketing coordinator at TCPN. “In our independent evaluation process Xiotech exceeded the benchmarks we set and we’re thrilled to add the company to our list of awarded vendors.

Xiotech has been providing its solutions to government agencies for more than 10 years. As a leader in data storage and a pioneer in self-healing array technology under its new Emprise storage line, Xiotech is committed to providing industry-leading storage solutions to government agencies.

We are honored TCPN selected Xiotech as a storage vendor of record from its competitive application process,” said Mike Hoch, vice president of Marketing at Xiotech. “TCPN is going to be a great asset to our already established list of procurement contracts for government agencies.”
