Hifn Adds Texas Reseller Dallas Digital Services

To its Channel 100 partner program

Hifn announced that Dallas Digital Services (DDS), a Value-Added Storage Reseller and service provider of enterprise-level, mission-critical Storage Solutions, has joined the Hifn Channel 100 Partner Program. DDS, based in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, will resell and integrate Hifn’s award-winning Swarm iSCSI storage appliances for its customers in industries such as manufacturing, telecommunications, government and education.

We’ve already had great response to the Swarm appliances based on showing it to end users with IP infrastructures, and we’re seeing more traction now for Hifn encryption products as well since regulatory compliance is impacting many of the industries we serve,” said DDS Vice President Howie Evans. “The overall cost and ease of use make Hifn products a no-brainer, and the Hifn team is committed to supporting their channel partners.

Analyst firm International Data Corp. (IDC) has projected that iSCSI will be about 25% of the overall storage market opportunity in 2011 with approximately $6 billion in revenues from iSCSI.  As the demand for iSCSI storage supporting both SAN and NAS increases, the Hifn Swarm series provides DDS with a means of meeting the needs of small and large customers alike. Swarm combines storage features in a size and scale appropriate for a small business, but at a competitive price for larger environments that require multiple units. When customers have an IP infrastructure in place, DDS can easily install additional appliances as the company grows.
