$18 Million Bookings for BakBone in 4FQ08
Record $60 million for the year

For the fourth quarter of fiscal year 2008, which ended March 31, 2008, total worldwide bookings were $18 million from the sale of software licenses and maintenance contracts. This represents an increase of approximately 15 percent from bookings of $15.7 million, as reported for the third quarter of fiscal year 2008, and approximately a 35 percent increase from $13.3 million for the fourth quarter in fiscal year 2007. Total worldwide bookings for the full fiscal year 2008 were $60.4 million, an increase of approximately 11% from bookings of $54.3 million for fiscal year 2007.
BakBone’s total cash balance as of March 31, 2008, was $10.1 million as compared to $8.3 million as of December 31, 2007. The increase in cash is primarily due to an increase in the Company’s bookings and collection initiatives.

(a) Bookings, a non GAAP metric, represent the total value of contracts signed or orders received during the period. The revenue associated with bookings will be recognized in accordance with BakBone’s revenue recognition practices.

The common shares of BakBone are currently subject to cease trade orders in the Canadian jurisdictions of Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario due to delays in the filing of the company's financial statements.
