StorageCraft Releases ShadowProtect 3.2
The software now supports 64-bit OS.

This update to the StorageCraft ShadowProtect line of award-winning, disk-based backup and disaster recovery software includes support for 64-bit operating systems. This update affects StorageCraft ShadowProtect Server Edition and ShadowProtect Desktop Edition.
“The improvements to StorageCraft ShadowProtect 3.2 will allow our customers to protect their valuable systems that run on 64-bit platforms, such as Windows Server 2008 and the new Microsoft Exchange Server,” said Brandon Nordquist, vice president of product management for StorageCraft. “Since ShadowProtect already supports 32-bit systems, this new update broadens the flexibility to recover all your Windows systems quickly and easily.”
In addition to support of 64-bit operating systems, StorageCraft ShadowProtect 3.2 also contains the following improvements:
- Enhanced retention policy for removable drives,
- Updates to the graphical user interface,
- Improvements to ImageManager.
StorageCraft ShadowProtect 3.2 is available free of charge to existing ShadowProtect customers who have version 3.x or later, and to customers with existing maintenance contracts.
