Former Intel Storage Executive Michael Wall Joins Atempo Board
During his 15 years, he manages Intel storage business.

Mr. Wall, a founding member of the management team that developed Intel’s highly successful storage business, brings 29 years of overall industry leadership and 10 years of storage experience to help guide Atempo as the company continues its momentum during a period of expansion and integration in its product line.
During his 15 years at Intel Corporation, Mr. Wall was responsible for managing all aspects of product and business development for the storage business, enabling the integration of standard microprocessors into a majority of storage solutions in production today. The result has been explosive growth in the number of storage systems shipped and the creation of new product categories in the mid-range and low end. Mr. Wall worked closely with many of the multi-national OEMs that manufacture and distribute servers, workstations, and storage solutions. He was previously the general manager for Intel’s Supercomputer Systems Division, which introduced Intel’s x86 architecture into the high performance computing market with massively parallel systems.
Prior to joining Intel, Mr. Wall served as a general manager responsible for North American Operations at supercomputing company Cray Research. He also held several marketing management positions at IBM Corporation.
