Jeff Hornung Joins Vivisimo
Former CEO and president of Scentric, after stints at NetApp, Spinnaker Networks, Dell and HP

expertise, announced the hiring of Jeff Hornung to the
newly-created position of Vice President of Strategic Alliances. In
this role, Hornung will oversee all of Vivísimo’s strategic alliances
and manage the implementation of new partnerships. "We’re very pleased
to bring on board someone with Jeff’s extensive business expertise and
industry insight," said Raul Valdes-Perez, CEO Vivísimo. "Hornung is a
critical addition to our leadership team and has the experience and
expertise necessary to assure the successful integration of partners
and execute on our alliance growth strategy."
Hornung brings over 25 years experience in Fortune 500,
mid-size and start-up companies covering a broad range of hardware and
software businesses. Most recently, Hornung served as Chief Executive
Officer and President of Scentric, a startup based in Atlanta bringing
distributed data classification solutions to the market for information
governance, compliance and storage optimization. Prior to joining
Scentric, Hornung held executive positions at Network Appliance,
Spinnaker Networks, Dell Computer Corporation, and Hewlett-Packard
Company.

Hornung received his MBA from Santa Clara University and a B.S.
in Electrical Engineering at Cornell University.
