Technology, Inc. has received orders for
additional ER-1010 core switches to expand the storage archive capacity of
Spare Backup, Inc., an innovator in automated, online backup for the consumer
and business marketplace.
"As we build our customer base of clients across the globe in consumer,
retail, and through strategic channels such as computer manufactures and high
speed cable providers, one of the keys to our success will be efficient, high
performance storage archives that provide the greatest degree of
accessibility. In looking at products from CISCO systems and other companies,
it was clear that the Raptor switches provided us, the best of all worlds;
efficient storage access, high transport capacity and low acquisition and
operating costs," commented Spare Backup CEO Cery Perle.
"We are pleased to be chosen as the network of choice for Spare Backup’s
‘clustered storage’ needs," noted Tom Wittenschlaeger, CEO of Raptor Networks
Technology. "We have now demonstrated, both domestically and abroad, the
compelling complementarity of Raptor’s virtualized network solution to the
rapidly emerging virtualized storage marketplace."
