ProStor Appoints Buzz Walker as VP Product Management
He joins from Arkivio and HP.

Walker has more than 25 years of experience in storage systems, software and technology ventures.
Walker will assume responsibility for product management and market strategy for the company’s RDX removable disk technology and InfiniVault, the world’s first removable disk archive solution. This includes go-to-market strategies, market analysis, market segmentation, product positioning, messaging, target markets, pricing and the company’s product roadmap.
Walker joins ProStor from Arkivio, Inc., a leader in delivering Information Lifecycle Management (ILM) software solutions for enterprise file system management, where he was vice president of marketing and business development. At Arkivio, Walker led all marketing, product management, branding, strategy and alliance activities.
Walker has also held leadership positions at Hewlett-Packard, where he primarily focused on sales, marketing, and strategy for storage, OpenView software and office automation products including responsibility for HP’s mergers, acquisitions, investments and technology alliances within the storage sector. Walker also managed HP’s business unit for branded automated data protection solutions, where he was responsible for the industry-leading unit market share of DLT-based tape libraries. Prior to joining HP, Walker was an R&D manager for Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati, Ohio.
He received his BS degree from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana, and his MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
