Bell Micro to Distribute SSDs From Micron

Bell Microproducts Inc. has signed
a distribution agreement with Micron Technology, Inc. Under terms of the agreement, Bell
Microproducts will now distribute Micron’s line of DRAM
modules, Managed NAND and RealSSD(tm) solid state drive
(SSD) offerings.

OEM division. "Additionally, Micron’s product lines add
depth to our line card for the fast emerging Solid State
Drive market, as Micron’s expertise in NAND flash has enabled
them to develop an optimized SSD solution for a wide range
of applications."

Products that Bell Microproducts will carry from Micron
include:

• A broad array of memory modules, offering customers multiple
  generations of DRAM technology (including the latest, leading edge
  DDR3) in countless densities and configurations.
• A family of solid state products that covers a broad spectrum, from
  low-density, cost-effective embedded storage to standard HDD
  replacement drives that offer lower power, faster boot-up time,
  increased reliability, improved performance and reduced noise.
• A Managed NAND Flash product line that combines Micron’s high- quality,
  low-cost NAND Flash memory with a high-speed MultiMediaCard (MMC)
  controller in a single package.
