If they purchase Data Storage Server 16 TB
This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on March 19, 2008 at 3:56 pmOpen-E is giving schools and universities an "buy-one-get-one-free" offer. With every purchase of Data Storage Server (DSS) 16 TB, the participating educational institution will get a second full version of the software at no additional cost to be used for educational purposes. This promotion will continue until June 30, 2008.
"Educational institutions are often in a dilemma: On one hand they want to train their students with innovative solutions. On the other hand, they very often have to do so on small budgets," explains Krzysztof Franek, President and CEO of Open-E. "We therefore would like to support private and public institutions like schools, high schools and universities by offering them a free version for educational purposes with every DSS 16 TB they purchase. Pupils and students can then work with innovative, state-of-the-art software without burdening their budgets further."
