IBM Content Manager OnDemand for i5/OS V6.1

With enhanced storage management capabilities

IBM Content Manager OnDemand for i5/OS V6.1 provides enhanced storage
management capabilities as well as several usability enhancements
that improve the end-user and administrator experience.

It offers a robust, comprehensive solution for enterprise
report management (ERM) and statement-presentment that enables
high-volume capture of computer output and archiving of scanned
documents. Content Manager OnDemand provides online access to
reports and documents, support for electronic bill presentment and
payment solutions, and the ability to deliver self-service access to
bills, invoices, and statements.

Content Manager OnDemand for i5/OS V6.1 enhancements

  • Use of Independent Auxiliary Storage Pools (IASPs) for archived
    data and the location of new instances.
  • Support for Tivoli (R) Storage Manager (TSM) as a storage level in
    Archive Storage Manager (ASM).
  • Batch Administration (arsxml API).
  • IBM Web Interface for Content Management included.
  • New fields added to an application group and change index to
    filter or filter to index.
  • Input file format specification for ARSLOAD expanded to accept
    diverse filename formats by allowing the format to be specified to
    the ARSLOAD command.
  • Change life of cached data retroactively. All cache data for the
    application group expires after the indicated number of days
    regardless of when it was loaded.
  • Single table creation for an application group.
  • Option to have sorting and hit list limits performed on the server
    by DB2 (R).
  • New application group field types for page count and document size
    (in bytes).
  • New fields (rows, time, and application name) added to the
    successful load message.
  • User-based password expiration when using OnDemand security.
  • Add/View annotations from the document list.
  • Global annotation settings.
  • Multicharacter predictive search of Folder, Application Group, and
    Application lists in both the Win32 Client and the Administrative
    Client.
