This is a Press Release edited by StorageNewsletter.com on March 14, 2008 at 4:11 pmNetwork Engines, Inc., a provider of server appliance products and services for
storage, security and communications software vendors, announced
its new corporate identity: NEI.
“The new name and logo is designed to reflect the firm’s ‘Go
Forward’ strategy and unify the employees of Network Engines after its
recent acquisition of Alliance Systems”, said Greg Shortell, NEI
president and CEO. “As the industry’s leading pure-play provider of
high value-add appliance solutions, NEI has fused its core strengths to
better deploy product with best-in-class ALM (Appliance Lifecycle
Management) services and back-office logistical support.“
Hugh Kelly, NEI’s senior vice president, added: “Our customers
demand an application delivery platform that reduces their total cost
of operation. Unlike competing high-volume integrators and contract
manufacturers, NEI delivers the broadest range of hardware, software
and services to help our customers provide the best possible product.
NEI is also a natural extension of our existing brand, since many of
our OEM and software/systems integrator customers and partners already
refer to us as NEI. So this reaffirms our commitment to them as a
trusted source of complete appliance solutions.”
