Joe Swanson President of Rorke Data (Bell Microproducts)

Microproducts Inc. announced the promotion of Joe Swanson to the position
of president of Rorke Data, Inc.,a wholly-owned subsidiary
of Bell Microproducts.

Swanson originally joined Rorke Data in 1986 as vice president
of sales, a position he held until 2003, at which time he
was promoted to vice president and general manager.

As president of Rorke Data, Swanson is responsible for company
operations worldwide, as well as heading up sales of its
flagship product, the Galaxy line of RAID, NAS and storage
server products. Rorke Data provides value-added, state-of-the-art
hardware and software digital storage and management solutions.

Swanson brings over 25 years of storage industry experience
to his new role at Rorke Data. Prior to joining Rorke Data,
Swanson worked in national sales at Control Data Corporation
for six years. Swanson is a graduate of The University of
St. Thomas, where he received a BA degree in Business Administration.
