FalconStor Able to Preserve Microsoft Windows 2003 Environments

FalconStor Software, Inc., provider of Totally

announced that the FalconStor
Network Storage Server (NSS) and the FalconStor Continuous Data Protector
(CDP) solutions, with built in snapshot technology for Windows, enable
fast, risk free migration of customer applications during migration from
the Windows Server 2003 platform to Windows Server 2008.

FalconStor’s migration technology arms
customers with built-in roll back and roll-forward features as part of
their pilot and production migration planning. Users are able to
preserve and copy their existing Microsoft Windows 2003 environments
using FalconStor Software’s highly efficient
snapshot technology for migration modeling purposes both in their
production and their testing facilities.

The combination of the FalconStor NSS and the application-aware snapshot
agents fully protects operating systems and application data including
Microsoft Windows Server 2008, Exchange Server 2007, and SQL Server
