Lewis Winning Joins Pillar as VP WW Sales Ops

Pillar Data Systems announced that
Lewis Winning, 46, has joined Pillar as vice president of worldwide
sales operations. This appointment strengthens Pillar’s
sales operations, and follows on a year of unprecedented growth and
innovation where the company closed 2007 with more than 300 customers
and 500 systems shipped worldwide.

Winning will be responsible for worldwide sales operations, assisting in
overall sales management, and ensuring Pillar’s
products and solutions meet market and customer expectations. Winning
will report directly to Curtis
Wittich, vice president, Worldwide Sales.

Winning has 25 years of experience in the IT industry, from both the
customer and vendor side of the business, with an emphasis on enterprise
infrastructure, storage and creating alignments between business
requirements and IT. Prior to Pillar Data Systems, Winning held a number
of executive positions over 18 years at Hitachi Data Systems including
sales operations, systems engineering, and marketing.
