Third Generation of Iomega REV at CeBIT

Iomega will announce new NAS and the third generation of disk drives with removable disk cartridges at CeBIT 2008. What’s coming after 35GB and 70GB on the 2.5-inch disk platter, in 2003 and 2006 respectively? At least 100GB, maybe 120GB in our opinion as the maximum capacity to be offered on this kind of disk is currently 167GB but Iomega was always behind the most recent technology for its REV cartridges.

This increase is not a surprise as the REV has not been upgraded since two years. For us, more surprising is the fact that Iomega continues to invest in this niche product far to have the success of the Zip.
