Takayuki Nishioka CEO, Buffalo

He formerly leads the Buffalo Japan sales team.

Buffalo Technology announced Takayuki Nishioka as the new CEO of Buffalo
Technology, USA. He will remain on the board of Buffalo Japan.

 

Mr. Nishioka brings over 12 years of experience in strengthening
Buffalo’s presence in the Japanese market. As CEO of Buffalo Technology
USA, he will be responsible for understanding the international
competitive landscape, predicting market trends and working with
Buffalo’s headquarters in Japan to establish company strategies and
policies. Mr. Nishioka will also be responsible for expanding Buffalo’s
NAS business in the SMB market through its award-winning VAR program,
boosting its consumer products line and increase sales revenue by the
end of 2010.

Prior to being named CEO
of Buffalo Technology USA, Mr. Nishioka lead the entire Buffalo Japan
sales team and played an integral role in securing Buffalo’s leading
position in 13 product categories. He was also selected as a board
member of Buffalo Japan in 2001. Prior to that, in 1997, Mr. Nishioka
was named the General Manager of the Networking Division at Buffalo
Technology Japan, where he was responsible for establishing Buffalo’s
leading position in the wireless networking market. In the seven years
Mr. Nishioka served in this position, he boosted Buffalo’s networking
sales by $160 million while securing the Buffalo brand as a household
name. He began his career at Buffalo Technology Japan twelve years ago
as a sales manager. Mr. Nishioka received his Bachelor of Arts Degree
in Economics from Ritsumeikan University in Japan.
