Tony Asaro Probably Recruited by Dell

From several U.S. sources, it appears that Tony Asaro has been recruited by Dell as director of product marketing and evangelist to promote iSCSI.

He is a well-known senior analyst at Steve Duplessie’s Enterprise Strategy Group where he is not anymore listed as an analyst.

Asaro is an ardent supporter of iSCSI and was running the ESG lab. And, as you already know, Dell has just acquired iSCSI specialist EqualLogic.

Asaro was a co-founder of I/O Integrity developing a high-performance storage controller as a system on a chip.
