NTI Extends Blu-ray Support with Expanded Software

NewTech Infosystems, Inc. (NTI) announced that it is shipping the latest versions of its Windows®-based software solutions  with Blu-ray disc (BD) support. The software solutions are designed to meet the  needs of networked, stand-alone, and notebook PC users. NTI’s BD products range  from easy-to-use applications for creating, managing, and burning data, audio,  photos, and videos to advanced backup and restore software applications.

NTI Media Maker 8 is an all-in-one digital creativity suite solution for capturing, creating, protecting, burning, and sharing data, audio, photos, and videos. Equipped with NTI’s EasySteps user interface, it provides out-of-the-box support to create data Blu-ray discs.

NTI Backup Now 5 delivers email, profile and remote-online backup/recovery features, hard drive spanning capabilities, and support for virtually all media formats. With a choice of editions and the modular upgrades that are available, individual,
mobile and networked users can buy the features they need now and move up to the next tier as their needs change. Also provides easy image backup and disaster recovery to protect operating systems, applications, and files. It can create
a complete image of data stored on the hard drive to simplify complete recoveries. With larger-capacity Blu-ray discs, an entire system can be backed up with only one or two discs.

In addition to Blu-ray support, NTI’s Windows products support virtually all popular CD and DVD recordable devices to burn CD-R/RW, DVD-R/RW, DVD-R DL, DVD+R/+RW, DVD+R DL and DVD-RAM media.

NTI Media Maker 8 and NTI Backup Now 5 can be used with Windows 2000/XP/Vista systems. NTI Media Maker 8 has a suggested retail price of US$79.99. Suggested retail prices for NTI Backup Now 5 range from US$49.99 for the Standard Edition
and US$69.99 for the Shadow and Image Editions to US$99.99 for the Advanced Edition.
