BridgeHead Has appointed Jamie Clifton as Director of Business Development

Storage management software specialist, BridgeHead Software, has appointed Jamie Clifton as Director of Business Development in charge of the company’s Enterprise Data Archiving (EDA) product line.
Clifton has worldwide responsibility for product management and business development for BridgeHead Software’s EDA offering, targeting the fast growing archiving market, predicted by researcher IDC to reach $2.3 billion by 2011. The company’s EDA software is an enterprise class solution replacing departmental archiving and products dedicated to specific data types with a single, all-in-one enterprise archiving platform. It brings together all archiving activities regardless of data type, storage media or physical storage location.
Clifton’s previous experience includes working with leading competitive products and companies. He was Product Manager for C2C Systems’ Archive One product and developed the product management function that supported the launch and ongoing success of KVS’ Enterprise Vault email archiving technology. He has also held worldwide product marketing roles for Veritas and Symantec.
