W3i Implements FalconStor Network Storage Server

FalconStor Software, Inc. announced that W3i, a
global, interactive e-services provider that connects consumers with
offers that are relevant to their online choices, has implemented
FalconStor Network Storage Server (NSS), powered by the
FalconStor IPstor virtualization platform, for storage, data
provisioning and migration of its data.

W3i provides desktop and wireless e-services for marketers and
publishers. Offering such graphically intensive solutions as
screensavers, ring tones and games, increased the impact on their
storage challenges. With over one million transactions daily,
substantial anticipated growth, and a SAN that had grown from 1.8 TB
to 8 TB in less than a year, W3i required a storage system that could
manage its fast growing supply of data, while ensuring data protection
