Digi-Data Partners With Open Source Storage

Source Storage (OS Storage), a developer of archival software, have
joined to offer multi-tiered storage solutions to the broadcast
industry. The partnership integrates performance RAID technology with a
robust archive solution.

As a result of this new partnership, users can leverage storage
automation to easily store and protect old or unused digital assets for
later use. With the implementation of disk power management, there is an
additional green, or energy efficient, component to the service. This
innovative solution provides HSM across multiple tiers, adding tape or optical disk automation support
for customers with existing technologies.
