StorMagic Opens Two New Offices in U.S.

StorMagic, a developer of storage management software, has
opened two new U.S. sales offices in Newport Beach, Calif., and
Naperville, Ill. to support the increasing customer demand and rapid
growth that the company has experienced since its launch in September.
The sales teams from the new locations are now working closely with
regional channel partners in their effort to provide cost-effective and
easy-to-use storage management solutions to local small and medium
businesses (SMBs).

“This expanded presence in the United States allows us to strengthen
the relationships we have with our partners and customers, and further
extend our reach into the U.S. market,” said Mike Stolz, vice president
of sales and marketing at StorMagic. “We can now better assist our
customers and engage new ones by reaching out to these regional
markets, where the need for affordable and comprehensive storage
management solutions addressing specific SMB needs is very high.”

Spearheading the sales and support initiatives of the new office in
Illinois is Barry A. Poll, who comes to StorMagic with more than 20
years of experience selling IT hardware, software, and services. Poll
has joined StorMagic from Sun Microsystems, where he was an account
manager for the entire Sun portfolio of solutions, including servers,
storage, software, technical services, and managed operations in the
Chicago area.  Before Sun, Poll spent six years with Dell’s Enterprise
Sales Group, and more than seven years on the buying side as MIS
director with Amoco/Scientific-Atlanta.

The new sales office from California will be managed by Greg
Borgman, a 15-year veteran of the high-tech industry with extensive
channel experience at companies such as Apani Networks, Simple
Technologies, Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics. With years of
experience in recruiting and managing channel partners at both start-up
and large companies, Borgman has established an impressive network of
OEMs, system integrators, VARs, and end-users in  SMB markets.
