Brocade is initiating the End of Availability (EOA) management process for the WAFS appliances, WAFS Software and Brocade Branch File Manager bundled products.

End of Availability Schedule

The EOA transition period is from November 20th, 2007 until Feb 19th, 2008. During the EOA transition period, we will fill any outstanding sales orders.

Important dates relating to this process are:

11/20/2007 – Partner and Customer EOL Notification
2/19/2008 – After this date, Brocade will no longer offer WAFS products

Product Transition

The existing customers will have continued access to product upgrades, patches and support based on customer support agreements. Until further notice, please contact Brocade Support for your product support needs.

Moving forward, Packeteer will handle support renewals at the expiration of current contracts. Customers will have continued access to WAFS through Packeteer iShared product line. For details, please visit the Packeteer corporate website at: http://www.packeteer.com/products/ishared/
