The internal 6Gb SATA RAID system with a low space requirements of a 5.25-inch HH bay, is suitable for servers, IPCs and workstations.

It is particularly suitable for secure provision of data by simultaneously writing on two hard disks or for high data transfer rates and intensive disk accesses. The hot-swap feature in RAID-1 mode allows the removal of drives for data backup during operation. If a new hard disk is inserted, the data gets automatically mirrored, so that the data are redundant again.

Secure mirroring can be realized with the hard disks in RAID-1 mode. On both drives, the data is backed up in parallel to prevent data loss due to hard drive failure. Thus, a stable operation is ensured. The RAID-0 mode offers a higher read and write performance by splitting into blocks on both disks.

The RAID system is easy to install and has a user-friendly LCD display for monitoring. It is cost effective, flexible and independent of the OS. No further drivers and no additional software is required. The performance of the computer remains unaffected.

With current 24×7 Seagate ST2000NX0253 HDDs up to 4TB capacity are possible in RAID-0.
