ElastiStor Appliances enable any size organization to break away from vendor lock-in and high expense of legacy storage approaches. Subsequent to the global launch of ESA, CloudByte has tailored the current release to meet the demand for all-flash appliances in India.

While the SanDisk Optimus Eco SAS SSDs power the all-flash and hybrid storage pools, Netweb, provider of server, storage and HPC solutions, facilitates distribution and hardware support. IndiQus Technologies is the implementation partner.

Enterprises and Service Providers are looking for high performance Enterprise storage at an affordable cost for their fast growing business needs in India,” said Umasankar Mukkara, founder and VP engineering, CloudByte. “We are happy to partner with Netweb and IndiQus for their expertise in India’s storage market and SanDisk for their expertise in flash storage.”

Capabilities

  • Spin out Virtual Storage Machines (VSM), like VMs in the server world, instantly for private cloud or eenterprise cloud infrastructure
  • Scale across data centers by adding more ElastiStor appliances
  • Define granular-level IO/s per volume

Benefits

  • Storage consolidation: Run many applications on a single storage platform
  • Improve storage utilization by 5X or more
  • Guaranteed storage performance for each application
  • Ease of use, low management single console storage management across data centers

We are pleased to be working with CloudByte to incorporate SanDisk’s high performance enterprise SAS SSDs into their new CloudByte Elastistor Appliance,” said Steve Fingerhut, VP marketing, SanDisk Corp.‘s enterprise storage solutions. “The foundation of SAS SSDs from SanDisk provides CloudByte customers with the speed and reliability needed for mixed-use and read-intensive application workloads, while helping them save energy, floor space, and-ultimately-money.”

It is a pleasure working with CloudByte and SanDisk to provide real life solutions with robustness of product and design,” said Sandeep Lodha, VP marketing, Netweb Technologies. “Netweb’s Systems will provide flexible, reliable, and efficient platforms so as to meet the diverse requirements of the customers.”

At IndiQus we believe in continuously bringing cutting-edge technologies to our customers and the ElastiStor all-flash appliances is a big step in this direction. We see many use-cases where enterprise customers can implement these storages to exponentially enhance their storage performance at a fraction of cost in comparison to legacy storage vendors. With our strong implementation skills around virtualization technologies, we would enable quick and hassle-free integration of the ESAs into Enterprise data centers,” said Sunando Bhattacharya, CEO, IndiQus Technologies.

All flash storage appliance ESA-A100 refined further for Indian market:

  • ESA-A100S: 6TB (expandable up to 12TB) of usable capacity with up to 100,000 IO/s
  • ESA-A100M:  12TB (expandable up to 24TB) of usable capacity with up to 100,000 IO/s
  • ESA-A100L: 30TB (expandable up to 60TB) of usable capacity with up to 100,000 IO/s

The above models along with the hybrid variants ESA-A10 and ESA-A50 are available in India.

Prices of all flash storage models start at Rs. 20 lakhs.
