Combined with built-in Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) capabilities, it will enable enterprise users to access corporate data on file servers and NAS on their mobile devices without VPN and with end-to-end security.

Enterprises today are facing increased demand from their mobile workforce to access data on enterprise content repositories that are behind the firewall to remain productive everywhere. The challenges for enterprise IT are multifold when the data goes beyond the company-managed devices to employee-owned devices through BYOD,” said Steve Lubchansky, regional director, North America, Vaultize. “Vaultize takes a holistic approach for remote access to corporate data such that mobility management and data loss prevention capabilities are fully integrated into the Secure Content Access Gateway to mitigate security, data loss and compliance risks. As a part of our continuous innovation, we are excited to support VPN-free secure and managed access to corporate data while the use of data is completely controlled and managed within the secure container and with Mobile Content Management (MCM) policies and granular access controls.”

Vaultize secure Content Access Gateway offers performance and scalability, with appliances that can scale up to 10,000 concurrent users and can connect to hundreds of data sources including file servers and NAS that support CIFS/SMB, and Google Drive (with SharePoint coming soon).

The gateway, when deployed on-premise, allows administrators to provision remote access to end-users through security, access control, DLP and MCM policies for a variety of endpoints – iOS/Android, Mac and Windows.

The Vaultize apps for iOS and Android have a built-in editor for Microsoft Office documents and PDF annotation. Enterprise IT can have granular control over copy-paste, sharing or opening in third-party mobile applications, printing and emailing. This is made possible through policy driven control over the mobile apps and its built-in document editor. All this combined with the built-in and patent-pending mobile data containerization technology ensures that data remains secure source-to-destination and cradle-to-grave. Containerization also allows IT to wipe data remotely, or even automatically, based on various policies.

Vaultize is an EFSS vendor that integrates EMM into its mobility platform – providing enterprises with complete control and visibility over the sensitive corporate data across corporate content repositories – on-premise as well as in the cloud and irrespective of the device used for accessing and sharing – facilitating increased adoption of Enterprise-wide Mobility even in highly regulated and security-conscious verticals including Fortune 500s.

Vaultize Secure Content Gateway includes Mobile Device Management (MDM) features such as remote wipe, data containerization, storage and network encryption, PIN protection and white-listing of apps for mitigation of security and protection concerns with Enterprise Mobility and BYOD.

Vaultize goes beyond MDM with features like automatic wiping based on geo-location or IP address or time-out. It further facilitates MCM through access rights and allows corporate IT to prevent data loss, security and compliance breaches by controlling what users can do with corporate data on their mobile devices using natively built-in document editor.
