With a portfolio of low profile Thunderbolt 2 to 10GbE, FC, SAS/SATA and SAS RAID Desklink devices, ATTO continues to provide a line of Thunderbolt enabled adapters for storage and network connectivity. Desklink devices are for creative professionals who need access to external storage and networks for I/O demanding applications such as backup and restoration, video-on-demand and video streaming as well as 2K, 4K, 3D and high-definition video post-production workflows.

ATTO announced the expansion of its Thunderbolt 2 to 10GbE line with two ThunderLink designs, the NS2101 and NS2102. The NS2101 offers dual Thunderbolt 2 inputs and a single 10GbE optical output. It delivers high bandwidth over a single link, and provides a lower TCO via multiple offloads for lower processor usage and increased throughput. The NS2102 offers dual Thunderbolt 2 inputs and dual 10GbE optical outputs. Both ThunderLink Desklink devices have a 60% lower footprint than previous full height models and new fan designs for reduced power and cooling costs. The NS2101 and NS2102 have received certifications for Mac OS X and Windows environments, and are backwards compatible with Thunderbolt.
