Amax Appliance Platforms With Intel Xeon E5-2600 v3

AMAX Information Technologies Inc., provider of cloud/IaaS, big data, HPC and server appliance platforms, announces its diverse product line including the CloudMax converged solution and PHAT-Data Hadoop cluster, are available integrated with the Intel Xeon processor E5-2600 v3 family.

CloudMax cloud server a 2U dual-CPU high-efficiency server featuring 12×3.5″ drives for cost efficiency for cloud storage, while offering the availability with up to 4xinternal SSDs that can be used for OS or cache without sacrificing storage space.
PHAT-Data high-density data node server, a 2-node server tailored for Hadoop fitting two dual-CPU nodes in a 2U form factor to achieve an optimal CPU to spindle ratio. This platform is used as a reference architecture for Hortonworks’ HDP distribution.
Open Compute (OCP) winterfell node, 3 nodes per 20U sled for a 108 cores of compute power.
StorMax I/O optimized storage servers, a 1U 4×3.5″ or 8×2.5″ I/O optimized storage server with increased capacity and flexibility for large to hyperscale data center deployments.
StorMax high-density storage server featuring up to 72 hot-swap drives for 432TB total capacity and 12Gb SAS for maximum density and storage performance.
