Toshiba PX02SM Enterprise SSDs Achieve VMware Ready Status

Toshiba Electronics Europe announced that its PX02SM enterprise SSD series has achieved VMware Ready status.

This designation indicates that after a validation process the PX02SM Enterprise SSD series PX02SMB160 has achieved VMware’s highest level of endorsement, and can be found on the VMware Solution Exchange

“We are in the business of helping our customers, and this certification means customers can experience impressive performance and usability in virtualized hyperscale environments with the reliable Toshiba drives they already know and use,” said Martin Larsson, VP, Toshiba Electronics Europe, storage products division. “By using the PX02SM Enterprise SSD series with vSphere 6.0, enterprises can incorporate additional capabilities that enhance performance as well as reliability, including Toshiba’s proprietary Quadruple Swing-By Code (QSBC) for improved error correction. The SSDs are optimized for mainstream server and storage applications requiring a balance between endurance, cost and performance.“
