Highlights will include a 1TB 6Gb SATA SSD in M.2-format and a 2.5″ 6Gb SATA SSD with power fail protection circuitry that prevents data loss.

As an SD-card solution, the firm will be introducing the S-46, which, by using the pseudo SLC-method, offers a cost-effective and durable memory card.

2.5″ 6Gb SATA SSD with high power fail protection
circuitry that prevents data loss

SWISSBIT_2_1016

The company presents its 1TB X-60m2, a 6Gb SATA SSD in M.2-format offering high sustained performance in both sequential and random operation, durability and robustness to MIL-STD810-standard. From the same range, a 2.5″ X-60 version is also available. The particular X-60P version of the 2.5″ 6Gb SATA SSD sets itself apart from conventional consumer electronics data carriers through its power protection circuit. It features a bank of durable capacitors in conjunction with hardware and firmware controls that maintain the internal voltage during a power failure long enough to securely save all temporary data to the flash memory.

S-46 SD card

SWISSBIT_S-46
The latest S-46 range of SD-cards utilizes cost-efficient MLC-NAND in a unique way. Special firmware only uses the strong bit from the two available bits per cell. This pseudo-SLC mode can be operated much faster with a longer life-span and an increase of the permitted program-erase (PE) cycles from 3k to 20k. Similar to durabit MLC-SD-memory cards, the page-based firmware achieves a more than 100-fold write-in data rate and life-span increase under critical operating conditions with small block-sizes.
