Edge Memory Reveals Revolution 7mm 2.5-Inch

EDGE Memory, a U.S.-based supplier of memory and storage upgrades, announced the Revolution 7mm SSD.

This is the first of several Made in the USA Brand certified SSDs that EDGE plans to release in 2014 as part of an initiative to support U.S. made products. The Revolution SSD is made  in the U.S.A. and TAA compliant. This performing SSD is an upgrade solution for country of origin regulated business segments, as well as any corporation or user that is committed to supporting U.S. manufacturing.

Revolution SSDs are a storage upgrade for notebooks and desktops as well as workstations and servers. Driven by a SandForce controller, the Revolution SSD achieves fast read and write speeds. Performance gains associated with system start up, data access, application loading, and backups are realized upon installation. Utilizing performance synchronous NAND flash, Revolution SSDs do not contain moving parts, making them a more durable storage solution than a spinning disk HDD. Additionally, Revolution SSDs consume less power per transaction than HDDs.

EDGE Revolution SSDs come standard with 256-bit AES hardware encryption and a suite of performance and stability enhancing features such as TRIM, ECC, DuraWrite, RAISE.

Offered in 120GB, 240GB, and 480GB capacities, Revolution SSDs are available for purchase through select channel partners.
