Echostreams All-SSD Tested Up With CacheIO by Orange Silicon Valley

Echostreams Innovative Solutions, LLC announced the proof-of-concept demo for an all-SSD-flash storage solution for performance-computing at International Supercomputing Conference 2014, reaching 2 million transactions per minute running Oracle RAC 12c Performance test.

The benchmark test at Orange Silicon Valley consists of five commodity servers running Oracle 12c Real Application Cluster software, CacheIO FlashCache appliance based on Echostreams patented FlacheSAN2 flash server, and commodity iSCSI array.

Besides high IO/s and tpmC, FlacheSAN2 also provides up to 170Gbit/s throughput sustained random read.

Benchmark Test Configuration
