Zerto Virtual Replication V5.0 Available

Zerto Ltd. announced the launch of the Enterprise Cloud Edition with the availability of Zerto Virtual Replication 5.0 (ZVR).

This heterogeneous data and application protection, replication and mobility solution for building and managing a hybrid cloud platform is available with Microsoft Azure support. The firm’s Enterprise Cloud Edition enables organizations to implement a hybrid cloud strategy today by simultaneously protecting and recovering any VM in any environment, from on-premises data centers to public clouds, all with different SLAs and retention policies using One-To-Many replication. Virtual Replication 5.0 is available in the Microsoft Azure Marketplace since November 15, 2016.

• Replication to Microsoft Azure for building hybrid cloud platform – ZVR 5.0 Enterprise Cloud Edition launches the replication and recovery solution to Azure with enterprise features for scalability. Whether managing vSphere or Hyper-V VMs, customers can achieve cost savings by utilizing Azure for limitless, on-demand capacity, paying only for what they use and removing the need to provision and manage expensive physical DR sites.

• ‘One-to-Many’ replication to increase SLA flexibility – The same software solution from the company can simultaneously replicate VMs within a local datacenter, for direct recovery to production, to a secondary datacenter or one of over 300 hybrid and public cloud services.

• Extended 30-day journal capabilities reduce backup constraints and storage costs – Customers can configure different retention policies per protection group to replace multiple, short-term point solutions for data protection and retention. ZVR 5.0 can recover files, VMs and applications from any point in time on a granularity that minimizes the impact of data loss to just seconds.

• Zerto Mobile for ‘anywhere, anytime’ monitoring of BC/DR – IT professionals can view real-time RPOs, SLAs, alerts and journal retention policies for all VMs in a hybrid cloud from any Android or IOS mobile device without being connected to the datacenter.
