Paragon NTFS for Mac OS X Snow Leopard Free of Charge

For sharing data between Mac and Windows

Paragon Software Group announced that the company grants Mac OS X Snow Leopard users full licenses of Paragon NTFS for Mac OS X Snow Leopard free of charge.

Paragon

It’s designed to eliminate barriers between Windows and Mac and provides support of Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard in 32/64bit mode.

With test results demonstrating around 90MB/sec during read and write operations, it achieves the speed of native HFS+ drivers and is a fast NTFS driver, offering a solution for those who want to share data between Mac and Windows. Mac users are provided with full read and write access to Microsoft NTFS volumes, allowing for the modification of existing files back and forth between Mac and Windows without additional hardware or software.

Paragon Software implemented a set of drivers with complete R/W access to partitions of any file system – including Paragon NTFS for Linux, HFS+ for Linux, NTFS for Mac, ExtFS for Mac, HFS+ Browser for Windows, ExtFS Browser for Windows, NTFS and HFS for Android.

The Mac OS X version is based on the company’s universal file system driver technology – specifically developed to provide full access (R/W, format, etc.) to volumes of file systems (NTFS, HFS+, FAT, Ext2/2FS, etc.) under various platforms (Mac, Windows, Linux, Android and DOS).

Features include:

  • Support of Mac OS X Snow Leopard.

  • Fast volume transfer speed.

  • Full R/W access: Modify existing files, delete files and create or copy new files.

  • The driver is installed through a wizard.

  • Mount any NTFS partition like a native one – no need to perform special commands to gain access.

  • Create and repair NTFS partitions under Mac OS X.

  • Non-Roman characters and languages: File and folder names in national languages, including Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Russian.

  • No system degradation during data transfers.

  • No limitation to maximum file/partition size (must be within Mac OS X and NTFS specifications).
