With affordable sub-cloud pricing, the firm cuts over 70% of the storage cost related to buying, operating, managing and protecting storage. More so, the solution enables organizations to increase ROI by moving less frequently accessed data to secondary storage.

The company has partnerships with EMC Corp., NetApp, Inc., Quantum Corp., Google Cloud Platform, and Amazon Web Services, and its customers include Pacific Biosciences, Inc., Medplast, and Houston Housing Authority.

This announcement comes on the heels of company and Quantum’s recent partnership last month. Using firm’s data management, Quantum offers a joint solution to enable businesses to extend storage with Quantum Lattus and Quantum Artico NAS management.

Firm’s founding team has successfully built two prior start-ups to simplify complex IT infrastructures. Their last company, Kaviza, eliminated expensive storage for virtual desktops and drastically simplified deployments with a scale-out solution. The solution was used by thousands of customers and was acquired by Citrix Systems Inc. in 2011.
