Joint Solution Between Accelerite and Nexenta

Accelerite, provider of infrastructure software for cloud, mobility, IoT and endpoint management solutions, announced a partnership with Nexenta Systems, Inc., in open source-driven software-defined storage (OpenSDS), to provide next-generation cloud storage solutions.

The joint solution provides data centers and service providers with a pre-tested, featured and cost-effective solution for addressing enterprise cloud storage challenges.

Accelerite CloudPlatform, powered by Apache CloudStack, is a cloud solution in both scalable private deployments in enterprises, as well as in large-scale public deployments of cloud service providers.

Nexenta offers two storage products for cloud customers, NexentaStor and NexentaEdge. NexentaStor is a platform delivering unified file (NFS and SMB) and block (FC and iSCSI) storage services and can scale up to multi-petabyte configurations. Its inline data reduction, unlimited snapshots and clones and end-to-end data integrity are key benefits critical to agile cloud deployments. NexentaEdge is a scale-out, multi-service storage solution to deliver cluster-wide inline deduplication and compression, offering simplified management of petabyte-scale repositories. With the latest updates, the block and object software-defined platform includes additional performance optimizations for all-flash and hybrid configurations.
