Data Locker Unveils EncryptDisc
AES-256 bit encrypted CD and DVD

Locker, Inc. announced its SecureDisk line of encrypted
recordable CD and DVD media which will be sold under the
EncryptDisc name, trademark of Imation Corp.
Formerly known as SecureDisk, it
provides FIPS 140-2 validated AES-256 bit encryption and media
burning capabilities, self-contained on a CD or DVD disc.

Data Locker’s strategy to grow and innovate in the encrypted storage
market," said Jay Kim, CEO, Data Locker. "DataLocker
EncryptDisc, in addition to our recently launched SkyCrypt cloud
encryption solution, allows Data Locker to now protect data
everywhere, in any form."
They combine encryption and disc burning
functionality on a recordable CD or DVD for a solution to secure
information sharing and archival storage.
There’s no software to install and no
need for other third party software applications. It addresses the
needs of users who require a secure and easy method to transport,
share and archive sensitive data and records on low-cost,
high-capacity optical media.
