Randall Runk EVP of Field Operations, NetApp

Succeeds Rob Salmon.

NetApp, Inc. announced the appointment of Randall Runk as EVP of field operations.

He brings over 20 years’ experience leading global high-tech enterprise sales teams at companies including HP and Oracle as well as a background in consulting, having spent over two decades with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Most recently, he served as a SVP at Infor Global Solutions, responsible for the sales and operations teams for the company’s global enterprise account group.

Runk succeeds Rob Salmon following Salmon’s promotion in April 2014 to president and head of Go-To-Market (GTM) operations.

Randy’s leadership is critical to the growth of NetApp and to executing against our strategy from a Gand operational perspective,” said Salmon. “His experience in enterprise technology sales makes him a solid fit in serving NetApp’s enterprise and midsize business customers. I am confident in Randy’s ability to execute on the company’s near-term opportunities and strategic priorities as the newest member of the leadership team in NetApp’s GOperations organization.

Based at NetApp’s U.S. HQs, in Sunnyvale, CA, Runk will be responsible for the continued focus of the company’s resources on the markets and customer segments that represent the largest market-share growth. He will partner to bring solutions to market while solving customer challenges and enabling customer success. He will oversee and manage NetApp’s geo teams, including leaders in APAC, Americas/USPS, and EMEA. Global tech teams, channel and alliance partners, sales operations, and emerging products organizations will also operate under his leadership.
