Jeff Aaron VP Marketing, Mist

Mist Sysems, in smart wireless networking for the smart device era, announced the addition of Jeff Aaron as VP marketing and Dave Gagné as VP sales, two veterans of the networking space with experience taking start-up companies to leadership positions.

In their new roles, they will grow Mist’s presence globally, establishing the company as the de-facto platform for next generation wireless services that simplify operations while delivering amazing new experiences for mobile users and administrators.

Mist,aaronJeff Aaron has nearly 25 years of experience marketing in the high tech space, bringing various companies to leadership positions through effective demand generation, content creation, partner marketing, and press/analyst relations. Most recently, he was VP marketing at PernixData, in storage acceleration and analytics. Prior to that he worked at Silver Peak Systems, Airespace (acquired by Cisco), Turnstone Systems, and Newbridge Networks (acquired by Alcatel).

 

mist gagneDave Gagné brings more than 30 years of experience in networking and software sales to Mist, where he will be responsible for expanding Mist’s revenue through customer and partner acquisition. Prior to joining Mist, he was VP sales at Zebra Technologies. Prior to that, he headed up North American sales for Motorola Solutions‘ WLAN business and served as VP sales at four start-ups: AirDefense, Engim, T-Networks and Tioga Technologies. He was also director of sales at Actel and Sharp.
