Greg Palinckx VP of Systems Engineering, Cleversafe

Cleversafe, Inc. announced that Greg Palinckx has joined the organization as VP of systems engineering, reporting to Jeff Giannetti, SVP of global sales.

Palinckx comes to Cleversafe from NetApp and will lead systems engineering and pre-sales technical support.

Palinckx has over 25 years of experience driving technical sales growth, operations improvement and cross-organization collaboration. He most recently served as senior director of systems engineering for the Western U.S. area for NetApp where he led the technical team through an organizational merger and drove improvements in tools and processes while decreasing team attrition. Prior to this position, he held senior roles leading the technical team in the Central U.S. and later the Americas Commercial team. In these roles, he achieved significant net new account acquisition and increased team productivity while maintaining focus on team development and customer success. Before NetApp, he spent more than 10 years in various software development, support, data center operations and leadership roles in the oil and gas industry in the U.S. and Europe.

Working with executives from the sales and marketing teams, Palinckx is responsible for the development and management of the long-term strategic plan for the systems engineering team at Cleversafe. To drive this effort, he is leading a team of systems engineers who architect Cleversafe solutions that align with the business needs of customers. He will help accelerate business growth by clearly defining and developing roles, processes and initiatives designed to improve every phase of the deployment/customer life cycle.
