CEO, CTO and COO Leave MailStore

MailStore Software GmbH, the German specialist for legally compliant email archiving, announced upcoming changes in the composition of the company’s management team.

Co-founders Tim Berger and Stefan Schultze, previously CEO and CTO, respectively, as well as Philip Weber, who had stood beside this team as their COO since its early days, will take their leave from MailStore on 19 June 2016.

This move concludes the restructuring phase as planned 18 months after U.S.-based backup solutions specialist Carbonite acquired MailStore.

In this time, the co-founders provided their input on numerous changes to the organization of the company and personnel in order to maintain the right path for MailStore’s continued growth as required by the parent company.

Growth in management team and new employees

For example, Daniel Weuthen became manager of the R&D department, as he had previously held the position of technical support manager and knows the in’s and out’s of MailStore’s technology and been working for the company since the beginning.

Further, Christian Mußmann already joined the company as the new technical support manager.

Roland Latzel started as director of marketing.

In the process, there also was a special consideration given to who would become the new CEO. As of 1 August, 2016, this person will join the ranks of MailStore and will continue to the company down the path of success laid by it before, together with the rest of the management team.

I’m particularly pleased that we have gained several new highly qualified employees in nearly every company division at our Viersen site, in addition to the new management team. And there are further hirings planned.”
