Bill Wuertz SVP Products and Solutions, Dot Hill

Was Avago SVP and GM of RAID storage division.

Dot Hill Systems Corp. announced that Bill Wuertz will be joining the company on September 29, 2014 as SVP of products and solutions, reporting to Dana Kammersgard, president and CEO.

Wuertz,Dot Hill Wuertz will have oversight of technology strategy, product roadmap and product positioning for both the server OEM and vertical markets businesses. In addition, he will also directly lead the company’s product development teams and will assume an executive sponsor role with several large customers, prospects and suppliers.

Wuertz will join Dot Hill on September 29, 2014 from Avago Technologies, where he served as senior VP and GM of the RAID storage division recently acquired from LSI. Prior to joining LSI, he was VP of the client/server business unit for Symbios Logic Corporation and director of design tools and libraries for AT&T. He also held management positions in product marketing and design for NCR Corporation.

He earned a bachelor’s of science degree in Electrical Engineering from Montana State University.
