Scality With OVH to Offer Scalable Hosted Cloud Storage to Service Providers and Enterprises

Scality, Inc. formed a partnership with OVH SAS, the world’s third-largest hosting and Internet infrastructure provider, to provide enterprises of all sizes a joint solution to tackle large scale storage needs.

With this go-to-market partnership, Scality software runs on OVH servers which is for hosted private clouds environments. In other words, this partnership makes it possible for OVH customers to build petabyte-scale storage pools by running Scality RING on their OVH Servers, getting efficient hosting and storage.

Hosted private clouds have become the growing choice for the enterprise to combine the effectiveness of public cloud, and the control and privacy of private clouds. According to IDC Corp, by 2018, more than 50% of enterprises will create and/or partner with industry cloud platforms to distribute their own innovations or source others. OVH and Scality combined petabyte-scale storage solution will provide reliability and performance to large enterprises.
