Open-E JovianDSS Certified for BigFoot Storage XXL

Open-E, Inc. and storage server specialist Rausch Netzwerktechnik GmbH announced the successful certification of BigFoot Storage XXL with its JovianDSS software.

The two companies are maintaining their strategic partnership for over seven years, and thanks to Rausch’s certified BigFoot Storage XXLarge and the alternative BigFoot Storage Flash for extreme IO loads, JovianDSS can be deployed in data centers and other large implementations.

The storage platform offers high density, increased efficiency and enables customers to lower their TCO. At the same time, users are able to quickly deploy large quantities of storage capacity. With six SSDs and 48 spinning disks in a single chassis, bandwidth and IO/s are increased drastically. Additionally, RAM can be extended up to 512GB. And with the caching functionality in JovianDSS, the speed of the system can be even higher.
